I did the following paintings between 1994 and 2001. Not sure why I did them, but I did. They mostly just sort of tumbled out of my head. I'd never painted before. No doubt because the school I went to did not encourage art in any colour, shape or form. The images hopefully convey my feelings of despair and loneliness during parts of my life and yet, at the same time, fill you with hope. I am not a complicated person and so the paintings are easily accessible although open to personal interpretation. Put simply, they are what they are. I just hope they move you and even inspire you in some small way. OK, time for me to go. I hear the soft beat of angels wings' approaching...
